The ULTIMATE hormone loving crunch bars 🤤
Ok I have no idea why it took me so long to make these as there are next level delicious 🍫 .
There is one food I have EVERY SINGLE DAY- and that is dark chocolate (85% dark, and dairy free)!!!
I am literally obsessed! I love having it after dinner with a cup of Cysterhood tea, and yes I am one of those weird ppl that dunk their chocolate into their tea! 😂
A few years ago I started making my own chocolate, and it was life changing! It’s seriously SO EASY and delicious!🥣
Chocolate in it’s purest form (Raw Cacao) is a SUPERFOOD!!! 🍫
It has TONS of iron, magnesium, vitamin C, antioxidants, fibre AND can help reduces cravings, cramps and boost your mood!!!! 🙌
Anyway my new healthy Crunch Chocolate bars are going to blow your mind
ENJOY!! xxx
INGREDIENTS
1½ cup cacao butter (or coconut oil but cacao butter makes it extra yummy!)
½ cup coconut nectar or your favourite sweeter ie rice malt syrup/ agave etc (Add more or less to suit you!)
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp fine salt (I used Himalayan pink salt)
½ cup raw cacao powder
3 cups puffed brown rice
Extras (optional):Nuts, seeds, Goji berries, coconut flakes, superfoods (I added in 2 tsp’s of Reishi mushroom powder)
METHOD
1. Melt cacao butter/ coconut oil in a medium sized saucepan on low heat. (Use double boil method if you can)
2. Once cacao butter/ coconut oil is melted take off heat and add coconut nectar (sweetener), vanilla, salt and cacao powder, mix well with a whisk until all ingredients are combined.
3. Mix through the rice puffs, when they are well coated in the chocolate mixture add any of your favourite extras
4. Spread thinly into a baking paper lined baking tray. Pat down well with a spatula. Refrigerate until set (around 30 mins) and then cut (or hand break for rustic look!) and serve.
